The Louisiana Bulldogs lost to the Monroe City Panthers with a final score of 74-28 on Thursday, Dec. 20.

The Bulldogs scored six points in the first quarter and two points in the second. By the time halftime rolled around, the Panthers were ahead of the Bulldogs by leaps and bounds, with the scoreboard reading 48-8.

However, the Bulldogs began to improve in the third quarter by scoring 13 points and then seven points in the fourth quarter.

“We turned the ball over a ton in the second quarter, so that could really be the difference in us scoring a little more,” Head Coach Matt Smith said regarding the 13 points in the third quarter.

Remington Feldewerth is shown flying down the court in a game earlier this season.
