Bowling Green’s baseball team kept their EMO Conference title hopes alive last week after picking up a big 4-1 victory over a talented Silex squad.

Cody Pogue had an RBI single in the top of the second inning to

score Kaden Chandler for the Bobcats’ first run.

With the game tied at 1-1 in the top of the fourth inning, Bowling Green had a two-out rally.

After two walks and a single, Dylan Huber’s

RBI single scored both Dylan Niemeyer and Pogue.

Niemeyer’s RBI sin- gle in the fifth inning scored Mavryk Comley for the final run.

Huber picked up the win on the mound after tossing five innings and

allowing one earned run on five hits with eight strikeouts and two walks.

Matt Church had two innings on the mound of shutout ball. He had four strikeouts and two walks.
