HANNIBAL – Several roads will be closed in Pike County in coming weeks to accommodate repair work, the Missouri Department of Transportation has announced.

 From Monday, July 22 to Thursday, July 25, the portion of Pike County Route TT between Ashburn and Missouri Route 79 in northern Pike County will be closed to accommodate pavement repairs and the application of a cinder seal overlay. Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Roadside parks along Route 79 near the intersection with Route T and Route TT will be closed during the same stretch of next week for pavement repairs. Work on the parks will take place from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pike County Route YY, which travels east-west through the middle of Pike County, will be closed from its intersection with Route 79 to County Road 123 from Tuesday, July 23 to Thursday, July 25 for pavement repairs and cinder seal overlay. That work will be underway between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The portion of Pike County Route AD south of Route YY will be closed for pavement repairs on Wednesday, July 24. Work will be underway from noon to 4 p.m.

The work could be delayed by inclement weather.
