Girls team brings in a strong second place

Dylan Dalton broke the school record in the javelin with a throw of 157'0. Megan Niemeyer placed second for the girl’s team with a throw of 106’.08. Andrea Korte placed fifth.
In the high jump, Jordan Stafford took first place and Kaylyn Charlton placed fifth for the girls.
Overall, for the team standing, Bowling Green boys placed first and the girls placed second. Centralia brought home first for the girls and second place for the boys.
In the boy’s high jump, Marcus Starks placed second with Jace Eskew placing third.
In the pole vault, Tanner Turner placed eighth for the girls. Matthew Jennings placed first for the boys. Bleyne Bryant brought in a third place in the event.
Kasie Orf placed second in the long jump. And Bleyne Bryant placed second, as well for the boys.
In the triple jump, Jordan Stafford placed third. Bleyne Bryant placed third for the boys.
Adrea Korte made a fine showing during the discus, placing first. Megan Niemeyer placed sixth. For the boys, Teddy Charlton placed first. Andrea also did well in shot put, coming in third for the girl’s team. Aleece Walker placed sixth. Gunner Bryant took first for the boys.
In the 4 x 800 meter relay, the girl’s team placed third with a time of 11:27.08. The boy’s team placed second with a time of 8:50.97.
Riyeen Brown placed fifth for the girls in the 100 meter hurdles. Marcus Starks placed second for the boys.
In the 100 meter dash, Kasie Orf and Kelley Lewis placed first and second, respectively. Brandon Gamm placed seventh for the boys.
Bowling Green girls came in first place in the 4 x 200 meter relay. The boys placed second.
In the 1,600 meter run, Natalie Hickerson placed seventh. Ben Chance placed first for the boys, with a time of 4:52.50. Jose Soto placed eighth with a time of 5:21.71.
The girls brought home a first place in the 4 x 100 meter relay. The boys team placed third.
In the 400 meter dash, Jordan Stafford placed third and Grace Deters placed eighth. For the boys, Bleyne Bryant and Dylan Dalton came in a respectable fourth and fifth.
Riyeen Brown placed fourth in the 300 meter hurdles. Marcus Starks placed second.
In the 800 meter run, Abbie Waddell placed seventh. For the boys, Colton Hearn placed second.
In the 200 meter dash, Kelley Lewis brought home a first place, with a time of 27:11. Dylan Dalton placed first, with a time of 23.69. Brandon Gamm placed eighth, with a time of 25.01.
Megan McMillen placed third in the 3,200 meter run. Jackson Hughes placed seventh for the boys.
For the 4 x 400 meter relay, the girls team placed ninth. The boys placed fourth.
The next meet was Tuesday at Centralia.
