OATS Transit, a non- profit transit provider for rural areas, has issued its May schedule for Pike County locations.
The service will be closed May 17 in observance of Memorial Day.
Bowling Green and Curryville to Bowling Green in town (Tuesdays before noon).
Louisiana, Clarksville and Paynesville to Bowling Green (Tuesdays after noon).
Pike County to Hannibal (Thursdays).

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays the Intercity
Express will travel along Hwy 24, Hwy 61, Hwy 40/61 and I-70 from Palmyra to Hannibal, New London, Bowling Green, Troy, and St. Louis. The bus will travel five miles from its route to pick up passengers. From beyond five miles, passengers will need to meet the bus at a pickup point.
On the second Friday of the month, the Intercity Express will travel along Hwy 54 from Louisiana through Bowling Green, Vandalia, Mexico, Kingdom City and Columbia

The Pike County OATS committee meets Wednesday, May 24, at 1 p.m. at the Pike Pioneer Nutrition Center in Louisiana, Mo. The meeting is open to the public.
OATS is funded, in part, through contracts with the Missouri elderly and Handicapped Transportation Assistance Program (MEHTAP), the Northeast Missouri Area Agency on Aging, the Missouri department of transportation, rider donations, and private contributions.
