Concerned citizens group worried about EMS coverage in Pike County
The group Concerned Citizens of Pike County, MO-EMS has been tracking and reporting on the number of emergency calls the Pike County Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Medical Service has been getting for the past month or two, and whether or not there are enough EMTs, ambulances and supervisors available for those calls. Russell Nelson, speaking for CCPC, said given the size and population of Pike County, having just two ambulances available per shift is not enough.

Group is collecting feminine hygiene products for local schools
The group Little Black Book has dedicated much of its fundraising efforts into collecting and buying feminine hygiene products which they can donate to local schools in Pike and Lincoln counties.
