Bowling Green Middle School Artist of the Week
The artists have been busy and working hard this school year to create their masterpieces. The eighth grade art class has just finished their printmaking project. They used traditional brayers (rollers) and carving tools to create their designs on linocuts. The students had to pick a subject matter that demonstrated texture. They were required to create four prints and pick the best two for matting. Wyatt Bair did a fantastic job with his printmaking piece. His character is whimsical, and his linocuts have a raw texture which makes the piece come to life. Wyatt titled his print 'Crazy Art.' His is a hard worker in the art studio. Keep up the amazing work.
