The rich aroma of Asian food sizzling on the grill wafts across the parking lot from the Tekichi Hibachi food truck. Inside, Titi Dora and her crew work furiously preparing hot dishes off the grill, as well as fresh sushi.

Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sarrah Gigous welcomed local business owners and guests to the 53rd Annual Awards Banquet at the Pike County Fairgrounds Thursday last week.

During the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Banquet last week, Kara Corches, the new president and chief executive officer of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce, addressed the audience about the importance of local business representation at the state capital. “At the chamber, we are the statewide voice of business,” she said, adding that they work closely with regional chambers, such as the one here in Bowling Green.

Elizabeth Kingsley, president of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, talked about some of the accomplishments by the chamber during 2024 to those attending the chamber banquet last week.
