ROBERT CURRY

Robert “Bob” Lee Curry, 75, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes and Crematory in Bowling Green. A private burial will follow in Perry, Illinois.
Bob was born October 14, 1949, in Pittsfield, Illinois to Paul and Nina (Lord) Curry.
Bob graduated from high school in Pittsfield, Illinois. He retired from Mordt Tractor in 2013.
His true passion was being a cowboy, working with horses and cattle. He loved to tell stories about adventures he had and his family history. Bob never met a stranger; he would always strike up a conversation to try to find out about someone he just met to see if he knew them or was any of their relations.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Carol; his four children, David Curry (Tara), Rick Curry (the late Belinda), Rodney Curry (Lisa), and Dee Ann Schlueter (Bob); grandchildren, Josh Curry (Brittany), Christine Schremp (Brian), Seth Curry (Jessica), Cole Curry, Bobby Schlueter (Sarah), and Abbie Edmunds (Devin); great-grandchildren, Henry Curry, Sophia Schlueter, Lincoln Curry, Westley Curry, Addison Schremp, and Haley Schremp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter-in-law, Belinda Curry.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pike County Home Health and Hospice or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
