HANNA MARIE GARTMAN-PALMER

Hanna Marie Gartman-Palmer, 32 of Rockport, Ill., and formerly of Bowling Green, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., surrounded by her family, following a battle with cervical cancer.
Services were held at 10 a.m, Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at the Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes & Crematory in Bowling Green, with Glen Hickerson officiating. Burial was held at Cresent Heights Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Ill. Visitation was from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Hanna was born Oct. 1, 1992, in Louisiana, Mo., the daughter of John Mer and Geneva Jane Clifton Gartman. Hanna grew up in Bowling Green and attended Bowling Green Schools, where she participated in FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, Color Guard and graduated with the class of 2011.
Following school, Hanna spent her working career working for Peoples Bank and Trust in Troy and Bowling Green, Aldi’s, Taormina’s Restaurant, and spent the past almost 5 years as a Pharmacy Technician at Bowling Green Pharmacy. In her spare time, Hanna enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, traveling, crafting, scrapbooking, making bows and recently began building Legos when she was unable able to get out because of her illness. Above all, Hanna loved being there for her children as a Girl Scout Leader and cheer and tumble mom.
Hanna is survived by her parents John and Jane Gartman of Bowling Green; companion Jake Crowder of Rockport; children Payton and Jordyn Palmer, and Wes Crowder; sister Sara Parks and husband Matt of New London; Aunt Sally Cassidy; niece and nephew Layla and Luke Parks; close friends Stephanie Klott, Shari Black, Heather Wood, Michala Mudder and her Gem City Tumbling family; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her grandparents died earlier.
Serving as pallbearers were Matt Parks, Andrew Wood, Bryce Hubbard, Devin Waters, Kalen Graham, and Grant Borrowman.
Memorials may be made for the children in care of a fund being set up at Peoples Bank and Trust in Bowling Green.
